The NEET UG 2026 Examination is scheduled on 03 May 2026 (Sunday). The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued strict guidelines for candidates and parents to ensure smooth and fair conduct of the exam. Any violation of rules may lead to disqualification or legal action.

Important: No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam centre after 01:30 PM under any circumstances.

Instructions for Parents & Guardians

  • 1. Ensure candidate leaves home early considering traffic & weather
  • 2. Visit exam centre one day before to avoid confusion
  • 3. Guide candidates to follow rules strictly
  • 4. Ensure required documents are carried
  • 5. Provide correct mobile number & email during application
  • Warning: If any rule is violated, the candidate may be denied entry or disqualified.

Strict Rules to Follow

Instructions Inside Examination Hall

  • 1. Carry admit card and show on demand
  • 2. Sit only on allotted seat
  • 3. Sign attendance sheet & give thumb impression
  • 4. Check test booklet pages properly
  • 5. Follow invigilator instructions carefully
  • 6. Do not leave without submitting OMR sheet

Barred Items (Not Allowed)

  • Mobile phones, smart watches, electronic gadgets
  • Notes, papers, books
  • Food items (except for diabetic candidates)
  • Water bottles (except transparent for special cases)
Possession of prohibited items will lead to strict action under Public Examinations Act 2024.

Special Instructions for Diabetic Candidates

  • Allowed: Fruits (banana/apple/orange), sugar tablets
  • Allowed: Transparent water bottle
  • Not Allowed: Packed food like chocolate/sandwich

Important Guidelines

  • 1. Exam will be videographed
  • 2. Keep face visible during exam
  • 3. No re-exam will be conducted
  • 4. Follow all NTA instructions strictly
