Eligibility for Admission – Nativity Criteria (Kerala 2026)
Admission to professional courses in Kerala is governed by strict nativity-based eligibility rules. Only Indian citizens are eligible, while OCI/PIO card holders are treated at par with Indian citizens only for admission purposes, without any reservation or fee concession. Based on nativity, candidates are classified into Keralite, Non-Keralite Category I (NK I) and Non-Keralite Category II (NK II).
