CENTAC NEET UG 2026: Puducherry Students Must Keep These Certificates Ready Before Application Opens

Puducherry UG aspirants (NEET & Non-NEET) targeting admission for the academic year 2026–27 must act now. The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) has issued a key notice directing candidates to keep all required certificates ready before the application process begins.
Online applications will be invited shortly as per the official schedule to be released. Authorities have clearly warned that delays in document preparation can lead to verification issues and may impact admission chances.
CENTAC UG 2026 Admission Process
The Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Puducherry, will soon begin the UG admission process for both NEET and Non-NEET courses.
Candidates are strongly advised to prepare all documents in advance to avoid last-minute rush.
Mandatory Certificates to Keep Ready
- Residency / Nativity Certificate (issued after 01 January 2026)
- Community Certificate (State format only; central format will NOT be accepted)
- Income Certificate (issued after 01 April 2026)
Special Reservation Certificates
- Freedom Fighter (FF) Certificate
- Person with Disability (PwD) Certificate issued after medical examination
- Ward of Ex-Serviceman (ESM) Certificate
- Meritorious Sports Person (MSP) certificates (last 5 years only)

- Regional Reservation Certificate (Karaikal / Mahe / Yanam)
- Rural Reservation Certificate (for Arts, Science, Commerce)
- Ward of Farmer Certificate (issued after 01 April 2026)
- Linguistic Minority (Telugu) – TC must mention mother tongue
- Government School Quota Certificate (continuous study proof)
- EWS Certificate (issued after 01 April 2026)
Important Instructions
- Only recently issued certificates will be accepted
- Old or outdated documents will be rejected
- Central format certificates are not valid for Puducherry admissions
