Karnataka NEET UG 2026 Counselling Overview
Karnataka NEET UG 2026 counselling is conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) for admission to MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH courses in government and private colleges across the state.
As per official rules, all rounds of counselling including mop-up and stray vacancy rounds are conducted online by KEA. Candidates must complete online registration and document verification to become eligible for seat allotment.
KEA conducts centralized counselling for all types of seats, including Government quota, Private quota (including minority colleges), Management quota, and NRI quota seats. Admission is strictly based on NEET UG 2026 rank, eligibility criteria, and document verification.
For AYUSH courses (BAMS, BHMS, BUMS), 85% government seats and all private college seats are also allotted through KEA. Non-Karnataka candidates can participate but are eligible only for specific categories of seats.
Candidates should note that qualifying NEET UG 2026 alone does not guarantee admission. Only those who successfully register, submit correct details, and complete document verification through KEA will be considered for seat allotment.
The entire counselling process — including registration, document verification, choice filling, seat allotment, and admission order — is managed by KEA as per guidelines of NMC, MCC, Government of India, and Karnataka State authorities.
Karnataka NEET UG 2026 Seat Categories (KEA Counselling)
All MBBS/BDS seats in Karnataka are allotted through KEA counselling based on NEET UG 2026 rank. After document verification, eligible candidates can participate in seat allotment under different seat categories.
