The FMGE June 2026 application process is now active, check schedule, eligibility criteria,fees,exam date,result with the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) allowing candidates to apply till May 11, 2026 (11:55 PM). This is a critical update for foreign medical graduates aiming to practice in India.

The application window opened on April 21, 2026, and candidates must complete the process within the deadline. Missing this window means losing the opportunity for this session, making timely application extremely important.

Note: The application fee is non-refundable and cannot be carried forward.

FMGE June 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must carefully check eligibility before applying, as incorrect or incomplete eligibility can lead to cancellation at any stage.

• Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
• Medical Qualification: Must possess a recognized primary medical qualification verified by the Indian Embassy
• Result Cut-off: Final result must be declared on or before April 30, 2026
• Proof Required: Documentary evidence confirming completion of all required medical courses is mandatory

If the submitted documents do not clearly prove eligibility or result declaration before the cut-off date, the candidature will be cancelled.

Eligibility Certificate & NEET Requirement

Candidates must meet National Medical Commission (NMC) rules:

• Eligibility Certificate from NMC is required (if applicable)
• For students studying abroad after May 2018, NEET qualification is mandatory
• NEET score is valid for 3 years for foreign MBBS admission

Failure to meet these requirements can lead to rejection even after passing FMGE.

Special Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates with MBBS + PG degree from countries like USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand may be exempted from FMGE
• Candidates with medical degrees from Pakistan require MHA security clearance
• Admission after November 18, 2021 must follow FMGL Regulations 2021 strictly

Important Instructions for Candidates

• Apply only if all required documents are available
• Ensure documents are properly apostilled/attested
• Incorrect or false information will lead to disqualification
• Eligibility is provisional even after admit card issuance
• No re-evaluation, rechecking, or grace marks allowed

FMGE 2026 Passing Criteria

Candidates must score at least 150 out of 300 marks to qualify.

The result will be declared as Pass or Fail only, and scorecards will be available for download for 6 months.
