Christian Medical College (CMC) Vellore has officially started the MBBS Admission 2026 application process from 23 February 2026. Admission will be based completely on NEET UG 2026 score and counselling conducted through the Tamil Nadu Selection Committee (Directorate of Medical Education, Chennai). Students planning to apply for one of India’s most reputed medical colleges should carefully read the eligibility rules, category system and deadlines because CMC Vellore follows a different procedure compared to most private medical colleges.

Eligibility Criteria (MBBS 2026)
- 1. Minimum age: 17 years on or before 31 December 2026
- 2. Must qualify NEET UG 2026 (50th percentile)
- 3. Subjects required: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology & English (passed individually)
- 4. General category: 50% aggregate in PCB
- 5. BC/MBC/SC/ST: 40% aggregate in PCB
Accepted qualifying exams include CBSE, ISC, State Boards, Pre-University courses and equivalent international qualifications (with eligibility certificate from Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University where required).

Management vs Government Quota
CMC Vellore has a unique system:
- 1. 50% seats filled through Management categories (Open, Minority Network, Staff)
- 2. 50% seats filled through Tamil Nadu Government counselling
However, even management seats are allotted only through Tamil Nadu Selection Committee counselling. Direct admission or donation admission is not possible.
Application Fee
- 1. Basic administrative fee: ₹1200
- 2. Registration fee: ₹500
- Total MBBS application fee: ₹1700
- Additional course (Nursing/AHS): ₹500 per course
Important: Application fee is non-refundable.
