NEET PG 2025 Round 3 Seat Matrix Changed: MCC Withdraws 3 Seats, Adds 70 New PG Seats
As per the official communication dated 28 January 2026, MCC has revised the Round 3 seat matrix after receiving updated information from multiple medical colleges across India. Candidates must carefully review these changes to avoid selecting seats that will no longer be available.
Seats Withdrawn from Round 3 Seat Matrix (Before Processing)
MCC has confirmed that certain PG seats have been withdrawn by the respective colleges and will be removed from the Round 3 seat matrix before allotment processing begins.
These withdrawals mainly involve courses such as MD Biochemistry and MD Community Medicine / Preventive & Social Medicine in government institutions, including an autonomous state medical college in Uttar Pradesh.
Candidates should note that:
- 1. Withdrawn seats will not be considered during Round 3 allotment
- 2. Any choice filled for these seats will be ignored automatically
- 3. No claim can be made for withdrawn seats after processing
This step is taken to ensure accuracy of the seat matrix and to prevent incorrect allotments during counselling.
