New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the NEET UG 2026 application correction window, allowing registered candidates to edit specific details in their forms. As per the official notice issued on 11 March 2026, the correction facility will be available from 12 March 2026 (12:00 PM) to 14 March 2026 (11:50 PM). Candidates must review their personal, academic and exam preference details carefully and make necessary corrections on the official website before the deadline, as no further editing opportunity will be provided.

The National Testing Agency (NTA), under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has released an important notice regarding the NEET UG 2026 application correction window. According to the public notice dated 11 March 2026, candidates who have already registered for NEET (UG) 2026 will get a one-time opportunity to edit specific details in their application forms.
The correction facility will remain available from 12 March 2026 (12:00 PM) to 14 March 2026 (11:50 PM). Candidates must carefully review and update their information on the official website before the deadline, as no further correction opportunity will be provided.
The NEET UG 2026 exam will be conducted on 3 May 2026 (Sunday) from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (IST) in offline mode (pen and paper) at various exam centers across India and abroad.

Fields Allowed for Correction in NEET UG 2026 Application Form
During the correction window, candidates can edit certain fields in their application form as permitted by NTA. However, some fields have limited modification options.

Important Instructions for Candidates
1. NTA has clearly stated that the correction window is a one-time opportunity. Once candidates make corrections and submit the updated application form, it will be frozen permanently.
- 2. Check all personal and academic details carefully before submitting corrections.
- 3. Make changes only if necessary to avoid errors during counselling or admission.
- 4. Once corrections are submitted, no further editing will be allowed.
- 5. Apply corrections early to avoid last-day server congestion.
Additional Fee for Certain Corrections
If any modification results in a change in the application fee category, candidates will have to pay the additional applicable fee. For example, changing the category from reserved to general may increase the fee amount.
Candidates should note that any extra fee once paid will not be refunded. Therefore, applicants must verify all changes before final submission.
How to Edit NEET UG 2026 Application Form
- 1. Visit the official website: neet.nta.nic.in
- 2. Click on the NEET UG 2026 application correction link
- 3. Login using application number and password
- 4. Modify the allowed fields in the application form
- 5. Pay additional fees (if applicable)
- 6. Submit the corrected application form and download confirmation page
The correction facility will close on 14 March 2026 at 11:50 PM, and no further changes will be allowed afterward. Applicants are advised to complete all corrections well before the deadline.
