Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS) is the first medical college established in Arunachal Pradesh, marking a historic milestone for the state's education and healthcare sectors. Located in Naharlagun, Papum Pare district, TRIHMS began its academic journey on August 1, 2018, with an initial intake of 50 MBBS students. Named in honor of Tomo Riba, the 2nd Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, the institute is dedicated to advancing medical education in the region. TRIHMS offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including MBBS, B.Sc. Nursing, M.Sc. Nursing, and MD/MS in multiple specialties, fostering the next generation of medical professionals.
