About College Campus

Founded in 1954, Shri M. P. Shah Medical College aims to provide high-quality medical education and exceptional patient care to the community. Initially admitting 60 MBBS students annually, the college has significantly expanded its capacity and now offers 250 MBBS seats per year. Additionally, it provides 21 postgraduate courses (MS/MD) and 6 diploma courses, with a total of 176 postgraduate seats available each year. The college is dedicated to creating a conducive learning environment, reflected in its state-of-the-art campus, which spans 63 acres and includes modern lecture halls, libraries, auditoriums, and practical labs.

About Hospital

The campus not only houses the medical college buildings but also includes well-equipped hospital facilities, separate hostels for undergraduate boys and girls, and residential quarters for staff. To ensure a well-rounded experience, the campus offers various canteens and ATM facilities, fostering a vibrant community for students and staff. With a dedicated team of 322 faculty members across 22 departments, as well as over 1,500 MBBS students and more than 700 nursing and paramedical staff, the college prioritizes both education and quality patient care. The campus is equipped with CCTV surveillance to enhance security, and it strictly adheres to the Prevention of Ragging Regulation, 2009, promoting a safe and supportive learning environment through mentorship programs for students. The medical library features an extensive collection of the latest medical textbooks, ensuring that students have access to valuable resources as they develop their skills in healthcare.
