Meenakshi Medical College Hospital and Research Institute (MMCHRI), a part of MAHER (Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research), is located in Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu. Founded in 2003 by the late philanthropist Thirumathi Meenakshi Ammal, MMCHRI is committed to training doctors with strong clinical skills and community-focused medical knowledge. The campus spans 39 acres, housing state-of-the-art infrastructure with well-equipped classrooms, laboratories, and departments, as well as quarters for staff and nurses. MMCHRI offers a wide range of programs, including an MBBS degree, 19 postgraduate disciplines (MD/MS), and super-specialty courses (M.Ch/DM) in 4 areas, with an annual intake of 250 students for the MBBS program. The college provides students with a vibrant academic environment and extensive resources that support excellence in medical education and research.
