About College Campus

Established in 1971, the college is situated near Gwarighat Railway Station on the banks of the holy river Narmada. It was granted autonomous status in 1997 by the Madhya Pradesh Government and is currently affiliated with Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University, Jabalpur. The institution offers a Bachelor of Ayurved Medicine & Surgery (B.A.M.S.) program with an intake capacity of 75 students per year. The course duration is 5½ years, comprising 4½ years of main coursework followed by a 1-year compulsory rotatory internship.

About Hospital

The hospital associated with the college operates with seven departmental Outpatient Departments (OPDs), each managed by specialized consultants in areas such as Kaya Chikitsa, Shalya Tantra, Shalakya Tantra, and Swasth Rakshana. It offers Inpatient Department (IPD) facilities with a total capacity of 100 beds. The hospital is equipped with a well-managed operation theater for minor surgical procedures, including specialized treatments like Ksharsutra for anorectal conditions. Additionally, it provides various Panchakarma therapies, physiotherapy services, and has its own pathology lab for routine investigations.
