About College Campus

GMERS Medical College, Morbi, established in August 2022, is a modern medical education institution under The Gujarat Medical Education and Research Society (GMERS) of the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Gujarat. Affiliated with Saurashtra University in Rajkot, the college began with its first batch of 100 MBBS students. The institution emphasizes a high standard of medical education combined with comprehensive healthcare services. Currently operating temporarily at Gibson Middle School near the Morbi railway station, the college will eventually move to a newly constructed campus, which is still underway.

About Hospital

Attached to the college is the Civil Hospital Morbi, a 360-bedded academic teaching hospital that provides extensive clinical exposure and hands-on training for students. This integration between the hospital and college helps cultivate practical skills in real healthcare settings, making it a valuable asset for students’ education. The college and campus observe the Prevention of Ragging Regulation, 2009, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students, with an emphasis on a positive, inclusive campus culture. 4o
