BPS Government Medical College is a milestone in the history of Indian medical education, established as the second government medical college for women after Lady Hardinge Medical College, founded in 1914. Opened in 2011 with state-of-the-art facilities and inaugurated by Hon’ble Chairperson UPA Smt. Sonia Gandhi, this institute is the first of its kind in Haryana. The campus is designed with modern infrastructure and fully air-conditioned spaces, providing an advanced learning environment for its 100 female MBBS students. With the recent addition of super specialty posts and approvals for additional MBBS batches, the college aims to become a role model in the country by empowering women in medicine and providing top-tier medical education aligned with international standards

About Hospital

BPS Government Medical College for Women in Khanpur Kalan, Haryana, was established with a vision to provide world-class healthcare to rural communities, especially focusing on women’s health and medical education. With a well-planned campus spread over 88 acres, the hospital has grown rapidly since its inception in 2011 from an initial 100 beds to 450 beds today. Equipped with state-of-the-art intensive care units, modular operation theaters, and a world-class labor room, the hospital is dedicated to serving the underprivileged. The outpatient department (OPD) sees nearly 1,500-2,000 patients daily, maintaining a high bed occupancy rate of over 90%, and conducts 20-30 major surgeries each day. Advanced diagnostic facilities, including radiology and blood investigations, further enhance patient care.
