NMC Withdraws MBBS Recognition of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Medical College, Jammu
The National Medical Commission (NMC) has withdrawn the recognition of the MBBS programme at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Medical College (SMVDMC), Jammu, with immediate effect, citing serious violations of minimum required standards observed during regulatory inspections.
According to official sources, the decision follows findings that the institution failed to meet prescribed norms essential for running an undergraduate medical programme. In light of these deficiencies, the NMC has revoked approval for the continuation of the MBBS course at the college.

As per the directions issued by the NMC:
